Default Rear E-brake Bracket and Cable help

I just installed a RE BB 2" lift on my jk X. I had to disconnect the rear E-Brake bracket to let the axle droop enough. How important is it to reinstall the bracket back to the body? I figured with the more flex I gained, leaving the rear bracket off will help and the cables free will be better while the axle flexes. any thoughts or experiences?
