Rear Lower Control Arm Mount Protection?

Oh.

Pretty sure you can get any piece of 3/16" or 1/4" thick steel plate and just weld it on. How mine are, including frame brackets on front lower control arms.

Anyone make some type of skid for the front lower control arms for the rear mounting position? (not the axle bracket, the one towards the rear of the vehicle). If so, can you post a pic? Also, for the other brackets, do they make bolt on control arm skids? I don't have welding skills so bolt on would be better for me.

i'm planning to have a weld shop fabricate something for the driver side - the passenger side is protected by the fuel tank.

i'll post a pic once complete - essentially create a cover guard over the existing mount with a gradual slope - maybe with a 25 versus the current 45 degree angle.

cut a pc of 3" tubing and welded on - doesnt' look pretty but at least it's functional -
