ive been under the impression that all the angle should be at the t- case side of the shaft

it should, but i cant get it anymore of an angle without rubbing my rear trac bar. I'll take some pictures ...well i cant tonight, its at the dealer

i think im gonna drop the pinion enough to clear and see how she rides. there were no vibs with the stock cv either. thanks for the input.

Not at all, there is quite a bit of angle on it. I can barely stick my finger in the top of the joint.

If you do not have the pinion in line with the drive shaft, you will have vibrations. You didn't have any vibes on your stock shaft because it was a CV style joint.

thanks for the reply. im limited on computer use because of dial up in a rural area so i use the net while at work. it almost seem like the the shock mount is pointing down too far or the after market track bar mount is out too far. the only damage is on the boot even with full compression of the wheel. i'll leave the pinion angle alone since the damage can outweigh that of the shock boot. Ill check back tomorrow and hopefully figure out how to get pics posted.
