Here's a drawer/shelf I built to hold tools. I made it small enough to still have storage space in the floor. I can get my Yeti 45q between it and the rear door. I routered a cubby on the right side for my fire extinguisher and tree saver. I will eventually have it coated in line-x, but I am still trying to figure out a locking mechanism for it first. Thinking about using a boat door latch that twist locks.

Since you have an aftermarket sub you should delete the factory sub, it frees up a ton of room

I have thought about that, but wasn't sure about whats behind it. Is there another plastic piece there, or will be be just sheet metal?
