Default Rear storage

Looking for pictures of rear storage ideas where the box takes up the whole back area and is only like 3" tall. Please post up pics. Don't want to lose the factor storage space.

Ronjenx has the best design I've seen. Again, kudos 5000x to Ronjenx. I used his design but made one out of 2x6 (shaved down to 5") and a sheet of plywood. you can see several pics of mine on this thread -

Has anyone installed this large tub. I'm going to give it a shot when it comes time to replace my muffler as it'll need to be relocated.
What are your thoughts on it?

It looks like you're in a '12, and from their webpage, they specifically say it does not fit a '13, '14, or a '15 (only '07-'11). I presume that isn't due to the exhaust since one of the first instruction is to remove the exhaust, but I could be wrong.

I don't really care for the product myself. To me it doesn't make sense to pay $300+ on an item that adds little more than double the space than already in that factory bucket, and also requires me to cut a big hole in my tub. I like the way ronjenx went because it provided a ton of room to store all my wheelin tools, and could provide me with a flat sleeping surface that covered up the gap in the 4dr rear seats.....all for about $75 or so. I can also pull it out completely and return to stock as if it was never there since it's only using the 4 pre-existing tie down anchor locations in the tub. Course, all that is based on owning a 4dr.

Mine is a '13 and is a bit awkwardly shaped close to the tailgate. Guessing you didn't look at the pics in the other thread I linked. I think I could have cut a little closer around that plastic trim work, but it just wasn't worth it to me. I had a quadratec rear mat that I can throw over the top of my "trunk" that gives it a nice finished look. I stopped using it just cuz I was tired of pulling it out in order to flip the front portion over for my flat platform. The minor gap I have in that area doesn't bother me.
