Default Rear Track bar

I have a RK 2.5" Max Travel waiting to go on my jeep,I am still waiting on my shocks to come back from being rebuilt at RK before I do anything with it. I got the kit used (for free) missing a few parts and have ordered everything I needed to make it complete again, I noticed the kit comes with a rear track bar relocation bracket which I have now but was one of the things that didn't come with it when I got it, but I was wondering if it would be better to just do away with the relocation bracket and do an aftermarket adjustable track bar? are there any advantages to running just an adjustable track bar and no relocation bracket?

just an idea of what I will do with the jeep: it is my DD, I plan on wheeling it hard sometimes but most of its offroad time will be on the local beaches. only thing that keeps me from wheeling hard a lot is the fact that there is nothing local to me, the only public land is the beach and other than that there is private owned land that you have to know someone to get onto. I do have a couple friends that have crawlers that I can tag along with and try to follow up the trails but I know they are a lot more capable than I will be for a long time.

The max travel kit comes with a relocation bracket and an adjustable rear track. I would say you would need to install both.

Adding the bracket will raise your rear roll center and give the jeep better handling characteristics when you lift it. Install the bracket.

looking at the parts list and talking to RK it does not come with a rear track bar just a relocation bracket and a front track bar. looks to me like the X factor kits is where you start getting a Rear track bar.

my kit was used and missing the front track bar, brake lines (f&r), rear track bar relocation bracket, and front sway bar disconnects (links are there but it was on a rubi so they bolted on instead of using as discos)

I'm sorry. I misread. I thought you had the X factor.

10-4 thank you. I knew there was a reason behind it but couldn't figure it out, didn't really have the time to sit and research it right now and wanted to get parts ordered if I needed them. I will more than likely order the rear track bar and the upper arms in the future but I want to get this thing put together and see if I need anything else before I spend more money on stuff I want

http://www.rockkrawler.com/ProductDe...tCode=RKJK25MT There's a parts list on this page, says it is supposed to have the bracket. There's other better designed brackets out there if you're buying this stuff separate.

I know it is supposed to have it, but when i got the kit it wasn't there, this kit was taken off of a 13 rubicon at a dealer ship for a customer that wanted more lift. they left some parts on the jeep from this kit so i was missing a few things.

what bracket would you recommend ?

I would recommend the artec weld on bracket. A couple companies make a bolt on bracket like teraflex, metal cloak etc.
