Default Rear track and TF BB...

First of all, this site has been such a great help. I am totally new to this and have really appreciated this forum.

So, I put the TF 2.5" BB on this weekend, and have a question about the rear track bar. The little bolt with the flange that secures the rear track bar to the axle mount I was able to get on, but it sticks up as it doesn't fit within the welded mount? What did I do wrong? Forgive if this is a dumb question, but - my first mod experience.

Also, with the longer rear sway bar links, are you mounting them to the inside at both the top and the bottom to prevent rubbing with the tire?

Here is a pic of the rear track bar bolt as it is, and thanks in advance for your help.

Mine are mounted on the outside, they dont hit my rims, They did with stock rims and tires... thats the nut flange,(if I'm correct) looks right to me... it suppose to be like that so you can tighten it.
