Recommendation for front winch Bumper for 2012 Rubicon?
I just found the pronghorn bumper system on alphaexdetion's site. I really like them although a little pricy.
I'm not smart enough to figure out how to get pics attached. I have them in my album if you want to see more, or visit JCR website.
Good luck on your decision, keep us posted!

I just installed JCRoffroad bumper. Really like it, next will have to get a winch. There are so many choices for bumpers, it really depends on what you like and your budget.

I have the Rugged Ridge XHD stubby bumper with stinger bar. Love the look and function
It was easy to install, but yes you do have to relocate the vacuum pump, athough it's pretty easy with the included bracket and instructions. A bit of bumper frame trimming was required as well but nothing a dremel and black paint could take care of.

The optimal method is to figure out your budget then features you want. That will narrow it quickly. For me, my must haves were a stubby, recessed winch, factory fog comparable and raw steel as I wanted to match my powder coat. That pretty much narrowed it to 4 units. From there, I then considered the rear bumper features as I wanted to match the same maker front to back. That narrowed it to 2. JCR and Poison spyder. From there, it was cost. I saved nearly $300 going with JCR as they were having some great deals at the end of last year. Consider I paid $300 less for JCR than I would have spent on PS and I contributed that savings to my winch that was $475. Essentially, the winch cost me an additional $175 out of pocket when considering the savings on the JCR fr & rr bumper.
Whatever you choose, do your research. Some units, the powder coat isn't that good. I had an ARB on my land rover. The fit and finish was excellent but the powder coat faded after about a year and continued to fade, even being garage kept. I've heard the Smittybilts aren't that great either.
