Default removing spacers help

Had a lug on one of my Poison Spyder 1.5" spacers at Discount tire while getting tires rotated a couple of days ago. Checked them today to see if I could fix them and found that a second one was broken. After some work I got the spacer off. Trying to get the other rear one off, but it is not moving at all. Any suggestions. Also, I'm getting brakes done in two weeks can I leave the front spacers on unroll then?

take a paint scraper and wedge it between the hub and the spacer and give it a wack with a mallet and they will come off.

Heat. Use a propane torch to get it up to 300 degrees or so. Then like the other person said, use a paint scraper or wood chisel to pop it off. Put anti seize paste on it before u put it back on. It will take longer to heat it than u think.

Thanks, that did it. Do I need to take the spacers off the front? Or can I wait two week?

There wouldn't be any mechanical probs with you doing this, but it'll look funny.

I really like the look of the spacers. Should I be concerned that two lugs snapped. Or do I try a different brand of spacer.

I would suggest buying new spacers.

I really like my spidertrax spacers. I have had zero issues after about 35k miles and multiple tire rotations.

Do nut run them with broken studs, you should be able to replace the studs, check poison spyders website for replacement studs.

I emailed poison spyder Wednesday and have not heard back from them. I could not find anything on their web site. I don't think they make them any longer. Maybe they have had a lot of trouble with them. I will try a different brand

just press the broken stud out and replace with new stud. Tire shop should do it for you.
