Replacing Motor and Trans at Home
I came across a really good deal on a motor and trans with low miles when someone swapped for a 5.3. My motor and trans are doing ok, but getting close to 90k. Before I decide to purchase, I've never done a full transplant. Will I need to do anything special other than take down all the components, pull the motor and trans, and put the new motor and trans in?

I just did a similar swap and added a supercharger. Very time consuming but not technically difficult if you are organized and have the right tools.
