Got a pic (or a few pics) by any chance?

My 1st set of Treadwright's on the Jeep were 265/75R16E's on the OEM steelies. The only negative were that they were HEAVY and they weren't big enough. I sold them to a guy who put them on his pulling truck. He loves them.

When they came out with 315's, I bought a set of those. They're D-rated and do just fine.

Interesting! The thought of retreads scares me. I have seen numerous write ups on these Treadwright tires and so far it's been all positive. For the price you can't beat it. Still on the fence about grabbing a set. For those who have them what is your honest opinion on them?

I have load E range tires and love them. Though as nails and are actually pretty flexible. I don't think they ride rough at all. Keep them at 28 psi for a good contact patch

Alrighty, probably going to order the 285/70R17 Wardens, load range E (just for the extra sidewall sturdiness). Going to specify that they be made from a set of BFG AT carcasses, which is think is quite normal for them. I'll report on the overall experience/first impressions in a few weeks when I'm running them.

And, I don't see how there's going to be much, if any rubbing with only 1" additional width compared to the stock Rubi AT's, but I'll test her ou and report on that as well.

If anyone has any pics of their rig on 285/70R17 Treadwrights, that'd be cool. Either way, I'll get some pics up here when the time comes!!!

Nice rig! Are those 315's mounted on 16's as well?

Back in April I installed load e 285/70/17 treadwrights after reading the positive reviews. I have been very pleased on and off road with them. Many people have been running these tires for years. Mine came on 1 year old nitto cores and unless u look close can't tell them from a non retread. These are on my daily driver 40miles highway and are wearing well. I expect to easily get 40k miles out of them. The rubber they use is solid and I've experienced no chunking or uneven wear. I'd be cautious doing extremely heavy towing but on a jeep these tires are safe and can't be beat for value.

Thanks for the positive review... I'm looking into the 315/70/17

Tslewize did you have any rubbing with the stock rims. That's the size I want.

I had rubbing with stock rims and the 285s at fill lock. You would definitely need spacers for 315s.
