Rim help
I have a set of gear rims they are 17 with a back space of 5 1/2. The help i need is the guy at the shop said they are plus 10 to help get the lift i need don't know what he is talking about and also with a 4in lift can i run 37s 12.50 with these rims thanks

Have you looked at the FAQs yet? It talks about backspacing and lift height vs tire height and components you want for the lift and gearing and...
With a 5.5 BS, you will want to run wheel spacers with those 37's.

I don't know what this "+10" thing is either. But, yeah, you'll need spacers. I just found out the hard way myself. My budget is minimal. I saved up for a lift kit, finally got one today. I'm ready to install and realize that I need 1.5" wheel spacers for my stock wheels. Looks the lift's gonna sit and collect dust for quite a while until I can work them into my budget.
