Rim Sizing.
I ordered my rims from 4WD last week (Method Standard 17"x9"x4.5"). They had 20% off and couldn't pass it up. They are officially back ordered until the end of February. Makes no difference right now because the tires I want (BFGoodrich KO2 17"x12.5"x35") will not be available until March 15th. So here is sit and wait, twittleing my thumbs.
I dropped the axle and also put it on the ramp and turned lock to lock and had plenty of clearance up front. Unfortunately I need bigger bump stops in the back or flat fenders. I rubbed bad on the fenders in the back when stuffed.

my choice would definitely be the 17x9 w/ 4.5BS. Not a huge difference between 0 and -12 offset, but you'll want at least 4.5" of BS to avoid rubbing with a larger tire...
I like the stance of your rig with that wheel and tire combination. To each their own I guess.
