Ok so let's go with this theory of "keeping your foot out of it". So now your car is essentially out of boost, still turning the belts and has the added weight of the charger system. How exactly is your car going to be more fuel efficient then a stock car and thus save you fuel.

What is the best way to address my RIPP supercharger issues??? I have sent a few PMs to them over the last week without a response. I just sent an email and hopefully that will get answered. I'm currently doing some training that doesnt allow me to make phone calls during regular working hours. I will be able to Friday and will try to call them then.
I had it installed last May and I had issues. I left shorty after that for Afghanistan and I recently returned.
I realize it is probably a programming issue but I am not the most "technical" guy when it comes to electronics. I understand they will address any issues, just seems like I cant establish comms with them!!

BTW turbocharging is a more effecient then supercharging. Turbos use the heat and expanding gases already present in your exhaust. Supercharged engines use belts on a pully. The only benefit to a supercharger is that it is tied to engine speed which is great for immediate predictable power. Where as a turbo will have some lag (although not much these days) with spool up.
In any case more power with these options means more air and thus more fuel. This is something you simply cannot get around with aftermarket forced induced recip engine kits. You can slice and dice it any way you like but the end result is you will not miraculously save more fuel.

It may be my imagination but I think I feel a slight hesitation each time my JK tries to shift in the 2100rpm area. Like you said, all I need to do is mash the pledal a little more and she takes off. Is this what you are referring to or is it more of a raising and lowering of rpm type thing?
As for cruize control. Is the issue when your running around 65mph. I have not experienced an issue yet but I have not put many miles on this SC. I tried my cruize at 60mph. Seemed fine at that speed.

That's sounds awefully like "lean tip in" as that supercharger starts to really pump air into the intake (2100rpms sounds about right) the car may momentarily go lean causing the hesitation. It is a common tuning consideration. I would personally never have forced induced vehicle without at minimum a airlfuel ratio meter (wide band even better) to see what's going on and to monitor.
Maybe with a roots type system. A centrifugal supercharger does not eat that much power. Not enough to worry about. As a matter of fact, it probably robs the engine of less HP than your air conditioners compressor.
As far as MPGs go, if lets say your stock JK requires 50% throttle to cruise at 60MPH. Now lets say your RIPP equipped JK now takes 10% throttle to cruise at 60MPH. There my friend is where you gain MPGs. You are going to burn more fuel with the throttle open at 50% than having it open 10%
So I get 19MPG on the highway with 37s cruising at 60MPH. Stock it got 16.
Of course your mileage will vary
Keep in mind that MPGs have more to do with efficiency of the fuel burned rather than the amount of the fuel burned. If you make more efficient use out of the fuel pushing your brick with 4 wheels on it down the highway(this describes the aerodynamics of our JKs quite well), its going to get better fuel mileage than some motor that is struggling to push that brick through the wind.

Well after the install of the intial tune and about 40 miles of driving I took the BARO reading and sent the results back to Ripp. The BARO reading was 29.20
They sent back an updated 3.3 tune and now I have an engine light and she started a little rougher this morning than the past three days. Going to try to find out what code she is throwing later on today and get with Ripp so I can find out what is going on. Wish I could revert back to the original tune that was on the Predator but I'm sure it was probably replaced with the update.
