Default Ripp Header questions??

So I am planning on buying the Ripp Long tube headers before the first of the year and was wondering if any one had any advice on parts I should get for it. Also my plan is to get new gaskets for the mounted end if it doesn't come with it and all new 02 sensors(already purchased). Does the headers work with a Superchips flashpaq? And any thoughts please shoot them out.
Thanks and happy wheeling

The RIPP people can answer all your questions, and then some.

You could probably use your Superchips programmer but Ripp writes tunes for the Diablosport. If you want a Ripp tune for the headers you will probably need to swap to a Diablosport. I use the Trinity model and really like it. Ripp has great customer service, give them a call and they will talk over what ever questions you have.

We are taking a little end of year break, but we write header specific tunes for use in diablosport programmers. You can pick up an I1000 or T1000 from any dealer or us directly.

I just purchased a set of ripp header since my cats are shot. From everything I read I am buying new gaskets, new ntk o2 sensors, and new stainless header bolts (old ones are rough looking and don't want to chance reinstall issues). I am buying all new o2 sensors just in case I cannot take off the old ones and specifically buying ntk replacements because I have heard/read Bosch and other sensors do not heat up as fast and cause a mil.

This is my second header replacement in 6 months so I am not looking forward to doing it again. So wish I would have known my cats would fail a few months after replacing a broken driver side stock manifold but that is the life of a used vehicle. Unfortunately it was expected (not quite so soon) since I noticed that the driver cat was 70% solid versus honeycomb. Just gives me an excuse to buy what I originally wanted.

Let me know if you have already completed your install and have any tips or ahh ha moments.

Also let me know if you can get RIPP to give you any tunes if you have a Diablo programmer. I have been emailing back and forth with them for a couple of weeks now and I am having a really hard time getting their tunes. This is a first but hope they will provide better support when I call them after the install is complete.

Will do but I have to warn that my experience will be skewed. I say that because my performance is way down because of the bad cat. For example I am getting less than 13 miles per gallon on the highway. At one time I was getting 17 18 hwy mpg even with a cracked exhaust manifold. In addition I have noticed a downgrade in maintaining hwy speed with the slightest of hills. No changes in tires and same route for years but jeep can barely stay in OD when I start going up a slight hill.

FYI I will be selling my ceramic coated gibson headers that have been on my jeep for the past couple of months. Hint hint... haha.

Honestly though I would suggest having you cat tested first. If I would have done that I would have bought the ripp headers to start since they come with cats.
