Default Ripp supercharger install

Just purchased the Gen 2 supercharger and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips and tricks to make the job easier. Is this a pretty simple install or should I pay $1500 to get it install by professionals. $1500 sounds like a lot

$1500 is too high.

The RIPP install by a pro is going to be booked at between 6 and 8 hours. Multiply that by the shop time and you'll have a fair price.

SC install is not technically challenging. It's actually a fun install, just a little time consuming. I'd say for you to DIY.

Last weekend we had an install party and two if my buddies installed this on his rig in approx 5 hours with no hiccups....actually took longer to go through the tuning process with RIPP than it took to install the components...turned out real nice btw

You will love the RIPP SC. I paid to have mine installed due to timing and work deadlines. Only cost me $700.00. mechanic did a super job. He related to me that it was pretty easy to install.
Again, enjoy the new feel your jeep will have.

Agree with the DIY course of action. My Dad and I did the install in about 8 hours. That was taking our time and triple-reading the install instructions. I think the most difficult part is just getting the danged intercooler plumbing routed and hooked up.

Install seems pretty straight forward, going to do it myself when I get back for r&r with my dad. Check out this video, does a pretty decent job going through the whole install and alleviated some worries I had.

$1500 is way too high, I was quoted $400 for the install but decided to use that to buy the Teraflex tire carrier instead
