Default Ripp Supercharget Gen 1 Kit

So I was able to pick up a used gen 1 kit and notice that all of the instructions say from 07 - 09. Probably cause the gen 2 kit came out last year (right?). But I have a 2010 rubi and want to know if this kit will fit in my jeep. Cause if not then... crap.. lol I guess that means I gotta sell it.

How much? And have you driven a jeep with a RIPP charger in it yet?

Hahaha wooaah slow down. I haven't even gotten it yet. The thought of the kit not fitting just crossed my mind today. I didn't even think to ask while I was competing to get it. The kit has 8,000 miles through it. I've never driven a supercharged jeep, but I used to own a 2010 mustang gt before she got traded in for the jeep. So I imagine it being something like that haha. I hope it's like that.

I would personally call Ripp Mods to ask them. They have a great customer service and I'm sure they'll answer your question.

I too bought a used GEN1 blower. I wound up making my own plumbing (easy) Rigging my own inter cooler and using their injectors and MAP sensor along with their tune. If you have all the piping, all you need is their upgrade package without the intercooler (its safe without it) to get you started. By all means run an intercooler if you can afford it. However, their tunes are reliable and safe without one if you run 92 or better octane.
Yeah I'll def give them a call when I get the kit and am ready to install. I don't know how to weld or have a pipe bender, so fabricating is outta the question for me :( I'm hoping that the boys at Ripp can hook me up with the piping and mounting for the GEN2 kit. It just looks like I won't be able to run a dual battery setup with the GEN1 kit. As far as the GEN1 to GEN2 kit they sell is concerned, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. The upgraded components look way better, but I don't have the fund for it yet. so I'd just install the GEN1 and deal with the power surges and lag until I can get the upgrade. Haha it's a small price to pay for the extra horsepower and torque. And now trading in my jeep won't even cross my mind until the redesign comes along.
