I used an long adjustable wrench and did them bubba tight. I sat on the ground and pushed them with my heels until I couldn't get them to move at all.

I use a big crescent wrench and a hammer. Tighten them up tight by hand and then smack the wrench a few times with a hammer.

We used red loctite on ours. We tightened everything we could with a big wrench and removed the arms for the ones that we couldn't get to while they were installed. Used loctite on all of them and haven't had any issues.
