Rock rail suggestion - Stock Rubi Rock rails vs Rugged Ridge Rocker Guards
Looks like it (the "rocker guard") mounts to the body? I still like them though - it is unlikely that I will be motivated enough to drill the frame or weld on the EVO's...

I did verify - with Rugged Ridge directly - both products mount in EXACTLY the same way - to the body. The difference is that the Side Armor is more of a "level" platform whereast the Rocker Guard is a bit angled up...
I think I'm going with the Poison Spyder Rocker Knockers - they still attach to the body but they have 14 mounting bolts instead of 2 or 3...

My vote (for what it's worth) is the Rubicon rock sliders. I can attest to their strength, and have battle scars to prove it. These are not some piece of crap that we have come to expect from Crysler. Rather they are impressively stout, don't stick out leaving less to get hung up on, and do an effective job of protecting the Jeep. I personally don't see any need to replace mine; re-paint for sure but not replace.
Matador, the RR looks very similar to the Smittybilts and how they mount. They mount front and rear ONLY and not in the center where it could flex and bend into your rocker panels like the Smittybilts did to mine. I am leary of this design so beware like I said in my thread. https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...-Guards-beware!
