Default sag/rake..normal?

to the TeraFlex sponsors on this site...Purchased the full 2.5'' suspension lift with new shocks through Northridge 4x4. Had it installed and its been a few months and its starting to really slant forward. As I had read and thought when I purchased this lift it was suppose to level out the jeep. Was I wrong? Any ideas to whats causing this and solutions you might offer?

I have not installed any aftermarket bumpers, front or rear. I plan on it. This is just super stressing me out. Fork out this $ and now a problem. Realy want a fix!

I had the same problem. In stalled the 2.5 coil lift and shocks on a 2010 unlimited. Got 2.5" in the rear and 2.25 in the front. Still had the rake. Talked with David and Joe about it. Joe sent me a new set of front springs but no difference in height. I reluctantly added a 1" spacer in the front to level the jeep out. Still stock bumpers. I was just like you , very unhappy with the TF lift. All the other threads talked of the jeep being level after the install. So what is going on with Teraflex? I will say however that David at Northridge has been great. I can't get an email from Joe at Teraflex.

HAHA not exactly sure had a shop do it as I watched the entire time. Describe and I will go check. When I first got it installed it all seemed ok, maybe a little rake, but it has gotten horrible lately. Plus I am getting rubbing in the rear on the brake line bracket. This lift has been nothing but problems when they installed it and glad I had them do it up till now unless they totally screwed it up.

So is the spacer in the front the solution? Did you have to install longer brake lines? This whole lift has been a pain. Rubbing in the rear and they had to put something on the outside of something vs the install instructions saying the inside. I forked out a pretty penny for this lift since I got their shocks as well. Feeling like I should of spent a few extra $$ for Full Traction. HAHA

Yes on the spacer. I took the front apart again, installed the the 1" spacer and it came out level. The ride is somewaht stiff but not too bad. Still running stock 29" tires. My 35's will be here this week. Over all I am happy with the lift, just not the front height. I have looked at a million jeeps on this forum with the same TF lift, and most come out level. Joe at TF could not answer the question either. I don't understand why mine did not. I could have spent less money and may have been happer. I plan on adding bumpers in the near future. Will see what happens then.

take a couple pics or your rig how it sits. then of the coils, shocks, etc. then we can all look and help you diagnose what is up with your rack in the front end.

Thank you so much and heck you're even close to me that maybe you could help. HAHA! But yeah I will take some photos in the morning and post them tomorrow afternoon so be sure to check back on this thread. I really want my ride to be the best it can be, not just half a$$.

I helped install the same lift on a coworkers 2010 4 door last Sat. The jeep still has a little rake to it. We will be watching it to see if the front coils start to sag. He running 33's. If it were mine I would remove the rear spacer or add one to the front to make it sit level. He also added TF lower CA's and a front trackbar. The TF track bar is really nice, large dia tube and can be adjusted like a drag link in place.
