Default Rock Rails & MUD!

Well I am fabbing up some rock rails right now for my 08 2-door Rubi(Me and my father do steel work on the side). What im trying to accomplish here is:
1) Rock Rails
2) That Keep the mud down
The problem with that is, the farther I take the upper slider bar out. The more leverage it will have.
So I'm trying to keep these things nice and tight and strong, that provide some protection from mud flying up on my front windows (because I roll them down and my past jeeps all got the glass scratched.
That are most likely going to be made:
1) Frame Mounted?
2) 1 and 3/4 square tube for sliders, 3/16 thick.
3) and plated between lower and upper slider rails to act as a shield
Does anyone have some good ideas??? I know protecting the body from rock or trail damage is the #1 priority.
But maybe someone has some idea I haven't thought of, Besides putting removable mud flaps????

....bullet that. simplify that down. My tired eyes can't read

1. mud
2. leverage point

I have thought about making my own sliders and if i ever did i would make similar ones to the shrockworks sliders. add a plate on top to keep the mud off. maybe if possible move the mounting points to allow for a FT LA.

For me the mud thing isn't to keep it clean. I honestly try to get my jeep as dirty as i can but with the doors off i do want to keep a nice interior. I have had rocks come flying in aswell. My girlfriend took one to the leg... she wasn't very happy with me after that. Ha i actually ended up driving around with the right hand door on only for a while.

They do a surprising good job at keeping mud off- not as well as the OEM sidesteps I have on previously, but much better than nothing at all

those look good....

Here's a clean picture of my JK with mud flaps behind the front wheels - its not science, they're great and work as you' want in mud & winter slush. I have JCW extra wide Splash Guards 18"L x 10"W. They also have sizes 22.5"L x 20"W and 20.25"L x 12"W

I used self-tapping screws staight into the plastic fender well
