I have the offroad evolution sliders. Very strong and look really nice. It works alright as a step but isn't designed to be a step.

no lower then the frame . I do hit them but that just shows it is doing there job. Very strong and I have no problems standing on them at all.

Check out the ACE Engineering sliders. Less expensive than Smitty's, probably would not want to bang them too hard but for the price the build quality is awesome.

I'm going that route. FYI, ORE can angle the rock rails outwards about 20 degrees ... makes a much better step.

Where did you get them? I did a search and came up with nothing. Even the website wasn't helpful. They look like the rugged ridge sliders, and I like that.

That is good to hear. Have you seen any pictures with them angled out? Do you think little kids could slip their feet through the space at this angle?
