This is just my opinion so don't take it the wrong way but... I think these steps/rails that automatically fold out like some sort of wheelchair lift just don't suit the rugged character of a Jeep. I don't know, but I think putting these on my Jeep would make me feel....well....old and feeble. Fortunately, I can still get in and out of my Jeep without mechanical assistance.

I installed the N-Fab rail and steps on my 2011 4-dr. I like them as they sit higher and the steps are solid and still leaves me clearance. Would not be the best choice however if you doing alot of rock climbing.

I'm sure I've already chimed in, but the OR-Fab ones are very nice. See them on my Jeep below.

I have Body Armors Rockcrawler 4x4 sliders and they work great as a step and slider.

I went with the Body Armor ones for my new 2011 JK...I like them. My brother and I threw them on last weekend.

I had to go with the EVO ones since I have little trust in the ones that bolt to the pinch seam. I have no regrets either, the frame mounts give it ton of strength and they barely show any marks after getting a good flogging. They can be used as a step but not very easily.

I really like these and with my Amazon Prime I can have them shipped next day (+1 to 2 days for processing) for $3.99 LoL I like that. But more importantly I think my 5'5" wife will really like these
