Only wire is the rear cab light in my 4 door. Light came out when i took my padding off.

I put the wire coiled up inside the base of the rear passenger seatbelt plastic case.

I have used the replacement cloth covers. They work well. However my problem is that I am going to add a sport cage, and there is no covers for them.

I plan to remove all the covers, remove the stupid foam blocks underneath, and then add back new padding so it all looks uniform.

My plan is to use foam pipe insulation on the bars, and then wrap it with black cloth tape.

6RXL100218 - K-Flex 6RXL100218 - 2-1/8" Pipe (O.D.) x 1" Wall Insul-Lock Pipe Insulation, 6'

What I am worried about is bashing my head on the bars with no padding, or worse yet, no padding and beadliner. Hitting my head is bad enough, seeing the skin stuck to the abrasive bedliner is not something I want to experience.

I run moroso roll bar padding in my cage. It's offset to provide maximum protection where you need it. They have different colours if you want them.
