Default Roof rack recommendations?

Now that winter is nearly here I'm getting my Jeep ready for ski season.

Previously I had a 2DR softtop with a Gobi stealth rack and a Thule cargo box for extra capacity. Before I outfit my 4DR hardtop with a similar configuration I wanted to see if anyone had any luck with less costly options? Like the Congo cage, Garvin or Thule bars / feet?

I'll post a picture when I get off work. I am running the body armor rack (craiglist $250 If I recall correctly) and Yakima power hound I removed from my old silverado ($100). Thinking of selling my power hound and buyin the Thule holder that holds them at a 45deg angle though. I have a cargo basket (cheap knock off) that I would like to keep up there for my snow gear bag (boots, gloves and all that other good stuff), however I can't utilize it when using the power hound cause it's too long. I'll post pictures after work

Here's a picture I dug up from my old set up. I had i-bolts going thru my hard top with silicone and washers. Never had leaks. Had the same power hounds bolted directly without a rack. Downside to this was in order to hold 4 boards up there was to remove the bindings on the boards that were facing down. Here's is a thread u should browse for more ideas "Snowboard rack pic request"

Garvin Wilderness Racks

Definately take a look at these racks. Im in a similar situation as you and to tell you the truth, this is the best looking rack i could find with great functionality. If not, close to it. Please do post if you find something better. Ill be throwing down the cash soon!

You already spoiled yourself the first time around. May as well do it again.

My old power hounds are as wide as the basket, so I fit them both at the same time..
