I have a cargo master and a home build basket with wood slats. Make sure you check the weight ratings as most of them are fairly low for highway use. The cargo master is the highest rated at 500 pounds on the highway.

I have a Body Armor variant, also available from JC Whitney under a different name. See my sig block for a full write up. I like that it works with soft and hard tops and is frame mounted front and back. IT is very solid.

I am curious how the AEV attaches... does anyone have any pictures to show the AEV?

I like the idea of not attaching it to the body like the other models.

Default Roof Rack

Go with the MBRP. I have a lot of their stuff on my ride. Good quality, looks great, and actually makes your hard top easier to remove.

I am also looking at roof racks. I am hoping to use mine as a platform to take pictures off of and use a telescope... The Gobi is looking like the best out-of-the-box option as it doesn't just have metal bars.
