Default Rotopax mounted on tailgate?

All - does the basic Rotopax mount work on the tailgate where the stock tire carrier would be? Have Rancho tire carrier and trying to figure out best method to mount Rotopax between tailgate and swing arm. Don't want it mounted on the spare itself.

Right - not like that. Want them in between tailgate and back of tire swing.

You can go with the Element plate from Vector Offroad, not sure how much space you have to work with.

Exactly what i was looking for. Should have plenty of room with the Rancho carrier - sticks out about 12" from tailgate.

Sweet! I didn't realize the Rancho stuck out that much, a rotopax would look good tucked in there.

Using the Vector plate, I see how you add one mounting point in the middle, but for the longer 4 gallon rotopax, are there 2 mounting points, one on each side? Not sure how they mounted that long can on the Vector plate but looking like they didnt use the center mount point...?
