Default rough country

I just saw the new rough country 4 inch lift for only 575.00. sounds like a good price for a 4 inch lift. Has anybody put this on yet.

Because you get what you pay for. Not that I'm saying that there's anything wrong with what you get, it's just that as far as 4" lifts go, this one is lacking in a lot of components that you'll really want.

I installed it last night and I LOVE IT!!!! it appears that its lacking extended bump stops but the shocks actually have rubber bump stops buil into them so the standard extended bump stops aren't needed. It rides as good maybe better than stock with the 2.2 pro series shocks it comes with. Has a front adjustable track bar, rear trac bar bracket. install was about 6 hours taking my time by myself and that includes re-centering the wheel and centering the front axle. Has Cam bolts, springs shocks, brake line lowering brackets, extended sway bar links, and i think a few other things. My only complaints are as follows... there these washers for lowering one of the skids, kits says to clear the rear driveshaft at full flex, but at least on the four door, theres not a chance in hell the driveshaft will ever even come close to it so left them out. the other complaint is there are a few typos in the instructions and i think a sentence or two that looks like half of it was deleted. and either i missed it, or they don't tell you to tighten the jamb nut on the trac bar... but i think i prolly just missed that line in an excited hurry to finish up and take it for a test drive. So far i love the kit and couldn't be happier. I also installed the 3/4" front leveling spacers, but if i were to do it again would leave those out as the rough country kit alone balanced out the rake and now my front is a hair taller than the rear, but they're in there now and it looks fine so they're staying in. only thing left to do is put some dyna beads in the 35's to get them to balance. on a final note, i had an RC lift on my TJ and was really happy with it, but this kit is infinately better riding than that one. I really debated what kit to buy and am really happy i went with this one. I got it on ebay for 535.00 with 20 dollar shipping...

Hey Eddie, as my last post says i installed this kit... so far i love as its right for me and what i need at least for now. I respect your opinion and knowledge a lot, always have ever since i stumbled upon 4x4xplor.com back when i first got my TJ. You mention that its missing a lot of the components you'd want in a four inch kit. I'm not looking to start anything, but like i said i respect your opinion a lot and would like to know what you think its missing so i know what to consider adding... like i said so far it seems to be just what i need. Maybe what its missing is above what i'm looking to get out of it. or maybe i've overlooked something and would like to add on to it to make it right. So any input would be much appreciated. thanks...

Can you post a link to the item on ebay? Or the sellers name? I want to get this kit also seems you have found it cheaper than me. Please post up some pics.
