Default JKS Quicker Disconnects

Not saying the Rough Country product is bad, but if you are worried about durability under a lot of pressure, take a look at the JKS Quicker Disconnects, they are a bit beefier than the Rough Country product, a little more expensive but the mounting bolts are quite a bit larger so you dont have to worry about them pulling out under pressure. I bought these and have been more than happy with them.

Here is a pic installed. They completely remove when disconnecting instead of swinging aside and mounting to the frame when disconnected which also means no drilling when installing, you use the existing holes for mounting the new bolts. They are also adjustable for lifts from 2.5" to 6".

Question, the top piece (the copper colored) that attaches to the sway bar is it two pieces or three or ???

I'm trying to figure out how the pivot works and how solid it is.

It is 2 pieces the horizontal bolt going into the vertical member comes as 1 piece then you can see the adjustment threads on the lower rod that is connected to the part that actually disconnects. (Forgive me I do not know the names of these parts)
I have mostly highway miles on mine and it actually smoothed out the ride after I installed the discos. I would say they are pretty solid I have done some mild off-roading with them still connected and I have had no issues. And disconnected your axle will travel as far as your shocks let it go.
Hope this helps.

Both it's a rubber bushing rapped around the bolt. To allow it to move with the swaybar.

Default RC Quick disconnects

Just got mine Rough Country Discos in today..they look nice but not too beefy-especially the joints, any of you guys have issues with a 4" lift (4 door sahara) with clearances and stock break lines or what not when fully flexed. The manual also says it should be at 11" for a 4"-6" lift...what is the best for the 4"? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I LOVE MINE!!!! GOT THE 4" in X series and the quick discos that came with them are awesome. Ive dont alot of research on what lift i wanted to buy and the discos definately play a big parts as well. IMO the only thing i would ask from rough country is that they make the hole for that cotter pin thing be 2mm further than where it is now. maybe even one.. maybe its just that its new and needs to be seasoned and broken in...
