Default RR a pillar pod

Everyone that has one feel free to chime in. How is the fitment? I just installed one in my 12 and it seems alittle loose. I have the OTRATTW switches Installed and wired up. I can reach over and move it side to side. Doesn't seem to be seated very well. I have taken it off and on 100x trying to see if I'm doing anything wrong or if something is getting In the way. Can't find anything. How does everyone else's fit

I had the same issue with mine. I just stuffed some foam up in there and it added enough heft to it to sit nice and solid now. other than that it's a great product. I think it looks great and put the switches in the perfect spot.

Yeah no doubt I like the product and it just moves if I grab it. Just seems like its sitting in the wrong spot or something. I'm going to take it out again and look over 1 more time. Then just put it back on. It's not like it's falling off or anything.

Mine has never been very tight fitting, always just a little loose, especially when doorless With the doors on, it seems to stay more in place, probably because the outer edge rests against the door. You could try some rubber foam weatherseal w/ adhesive backing and see if that helps the sturdiness.

Mine is fairly sloppy fitting and is slightly bent where it meets the windshield. You used the little metal push clips to attach it to a pillar right?

Yeah I used the clips. Had to get one off the tailgate wire cover. Mine does the same thing. Kinda slopes in on the windshield side. Guess its just something do deal with. As long as it doesn't fly off while driving doorless I'm good.

Looks like we all have the same issue. Mine is a little loose as well. The philips head clip that I pulled out when removing the stock A Pillar broke. If I can replace it I think that may increase the strength a bit.

Questions.
1) I plan on buying the OTRATTW switches, does those switches light up at night like the stock switches do?
2) How do you tap into the wire that lights the switch when in the off position? Where is the wire? What color is it?

Last question,I have a set of 100 watt lights, 2 are on 1 switch. Im adding another set of 130 watt lights. I would like to have all four on 1 switch. Any ideas how this is done?

As far as question 1 and 2. Yes these particular switches a have two lights. One lights up when the jeep is on or when you turn your lights on depending on how u wire it. The other light comes on when you flip the switch. I currently don't have mine wires up all the way yet. I ran out of time. I've been told that there is a dash illumination wire in the power window panel and the AC controls. I believe and orange wire ( please double check before quoting me). My plans are to wire the dash illuminate wire to the wire that is lit when the dash lights are on. The other will go to an ignition fuse. I will be running all my lights and accessories off an aux fuse and relay box I got. So the draw to my switches will be low with no worries of messing anything up. Hope this helps.
