As far as question 1 and 2. Yes these particular switches a have two lights. One lights up when the jeep is on or when you turn your lights on depending on how u wire it. The other light comes on when you flip the switch. I currently don't have mine wires up all the way yet. I ran out of time. I've been told that there is a dash illumination wire in the power window panel and the AC controls. I believe and orange wire ( please double check before quoting me). My plans are to wire the dash illuminate wire to the wire that is lit when the dash lights are on. The other will go to an ignition fuse. I will be running all my lights and accessories off an aux fuse and relay box I got. So the draw to my switches will be low with no worries of messing anything up. Hope this helps.
