Default RR XHD front bumper?

Does anyone have a rugged ridge XHD front bumper on their Jk? Does anyone have any problems or complaints?
Was it easy to put on? Let me know what you think?
Specifically one like the one in the photo?

It was cake to put on but do your own layer of bedliner before you put it on. The bumper was lighter than my new one and really tough for what it is. I wouldn't hesitate to get another but it was time for a change for me.

For installation- install the hoop on the bumper, then bolt the bumper up, then do the fairlead, then the winch. The directions say bolt everything to the bumper and lift it up as an assembly but it's easier my way.

Seems to be the only pic I have left on the phone since going to a stinger. IIRC it's 53 lbs, so 'relatively' light......but I use that 'light' word very loosely- bitch is heavy.

Sounds hella heavy! Haha I really like the way it looks on a Jk. So I think that's what I'm going to go with. And probably do the expedition 1 on the back

It's lighter than most but gets it's weight from 1/4" steel as the base. Check around on pricing but I picked mine up for $330 shipped a few years back from ebay. It's the same poor quality powdercoat no matter where you buy it, so why not save a couple bucks.

As much as I like qtec, deff don't go there for this bumper.....it'll easily cost $600.

Another benefit of the bumper is the massive mounting plate. I run a 10k winch but sold it to a guy with a 12k. The 12k bolted right up although the solenoid box was very tight and would probably be better positioned under the hood or slightly modify the grill. No issues with my 10k though and I have a friend who had an 8k in his without issue.

I had one. In a way it was easier to mount the winch to the bumper before mounting it on the jeep. Otherwise, zero complaints. I wish they had made a stinger-only version without the bars on side, but the hoop was good for extra lights... wish it has light tabs welded in tho.

I love mine. Picked it up for $227 shipped on Amazon last Thanksgiving.

I don't like the RR stinger, so I'm going to weld the Smittybilt stinger onto it, if I can ever find the measurements.

It was super easy to install. I installed my 12k winch after i put the bumper on, wasn't too much of a hassle, as I do not have a skid plate on.

Great bumper. I went with the RRC option.

I put it on last week--I got the one without the stinger or winch and it was very easy to put on. The only thing I would suggest is painting the bolts that come with it that hold the bumper on. They are a brownish color and look weird against the finish, so I painted them matte black. There are 4 holes on each side that are there for a stinger or grill guard and because I don't have either of those, I left them empty, but they rusted in a few days, so I had to put the bolts in to fill the space. I had to replace those bolts because they were garbage and very soft and stripped easily--I also painted them with matte spraypaint from Home Depot. Also, when you tighten down the bolts, be sure to do it slowly. I used an impact driver and when I tightened them all the way in, i wound up cracking the finish on bumper a little so I put a washer on and then the bold and it covered the chipped part. Other than that, I love the look of the bumper and I got it for $322 on Jeep Hut.

Here's mine! Awesome bumper. I've had mine for about 2 years and no issues to date, easy install. The only rust spot I got was where a rock chipped a tiny spot on the grill hoop, other than that it has survived the Canadian winters rather well. Still looks like new basically...Love it!
