Default rubbing

why all the concern about a little rubbing on the fenders when at full compression? will this really cause damage or just scuff marks on the edge of the flare? i m just talking large 33's, not true 35's or bigger. then i could see the tire ripping the stock flares off while off road.

I think it depends on the amount of articulation you are getting. The more articulation, the more prone to rubbing and/or destroying your fender flare--possibly hurting the body's side panel too.

33's on stock springs, I think you'll be alright and even with a leveling kit on stock bumpstops and shocks. With 2" budget boosts and bigger lifts, there's a reason why they include extended bumpstops. Shock length will also restrict articulation.
