I have the exact same setup and the exact same problem. Here is a picture of the 1/2 inch of space between the rear arm and the tire... I'm getting wheel spacers next week so I'll let you know how it turns out.

If your axle is off center, then an easier fix, and probably less expensive than the other suggestions posted, would be replace the rear trackbar relocation bracket with a rear adjustable trackbar so you can dial in the rear axle left/right. That will most likely cure, if not all, at least the majority of your problem.
what wrnglrguy said. i'm not sure why one wouldn't have been included with your kit but your problem is that you need a track bar relocation bracket. it will allow you to recenter your axle.

It's fine on the road. But when i air down (around 15 psi) it rubs going over big rocks and fallen trees laying across the trail.

With that much lift you need something to correct the track front and back. I bet it will handle better on the road as well once you get everything back under the jeep were it belongs.

You shouldn't have to run spacers. I'd check to make sure its 4.5" BS and then make sure the lift was installed correctly.
Just an FYI, back spacing has nothing to do with 35, 37, 40 inch tires....
It has all to do with the width of the tire.

And the adjustable track bar or relocation bracket might very well solve the problem. Otherwise, it would be bs or a spacer.

well, after seeing all the replies, im going to start wth the adjustable rear track bar and go from there. i know that wont fix the actuall amount of space between the tire and arm, but in my case should make the gap equall on both sides. running 37's, there arent too many of them out there to fit 16in rim for my purposes. once these run out, ill probably try 37x12.5x16. ill probably go ahead and try spacers also. like JoeBlob said, when u air down it rubs and also for me when u start getting into some hard articulation it rubs, but everyday driving is fine. thanks for all the help guys.
