Rubi shocks install.
Hey guys, still kinda new to the forum so bear with me. I am in the process of buying rubicon springs/shocks (18/60) with 400 miles from another member and will be installing once it warms up. I own a 2012 sport with no suspension upgrades to this point. I understand I am going from stock to stock but I think I will get a slight lift from the setup. My main question is if there should be any concern for adjusting anything else (mainly thinking of brake line extensions). I know I will have to loosen suspension components and brake lines to do the actual swap but afterwards am I all set running everything else stock? I also assume my alignment will be ok afterwards, am I right ASSuming? Thanks guys.
PS I called the dealership for giggles to see what they would charge for the install alone.....take a guess at what the quote was, clue: I did laugh and hang up.

stock parts will require nothing additional. Unless you checked you may have the same springs already as it is hit or miss what they come from the factory with. My buddys basic sport 4 door has 18/60 from the factory and mine had 17/58.
check the want ads I just sold a set of front and rear 17/58 for $20 new take offs. I have a buddy that has some new 18/60's that have less then 300 miles on them. I do know that it cost me $about $40 to ship to Louisiana. so not cheap to ship.

Yes it's just a hose. You might also look up the install directions for the 2.5" teraflex lift. It will give you an idea what to loosen up and what to remove in order to squeeze in your springs. My first time with rubi springs took 4hrs. I've done 3 sets now slowly moving up in height. My last set tool about an hour. Good luck! Also you won't need an alignment there isn't anything that will get adjusted except your steering wheel. You can recenter that with simple hand tools.
The only tool you will have to buy (especially if you plan on more suspension mods). Is a good torque wrench. You will have to tighten bolts to spec and hand tight doesn't cut it for track bars. It's a good way to get death wobble.
