Default Rubicon axles

Anyone did a axleswap on their Sahara? I just got the factory Rubicon axles, front + rear for it, along with a new Rubicon chassies cable harness and new center dashboard switch controls. Is this cable harness just plug and play? I thought even the Sahara's had the same harness as the Rubicon, except it didn't use the connections for the e-lockers and e-swaybar... seems quite easy to change though, just want to make sure!

I added the front Rubicon axle from Mopar ( with e-locker) and have not been able to find the eletrical pigtail to wire it !!!

Sounds like the harness you found is the only way to go !!!!! 4wd.com sales said it was like 120$!!! It includes front and rear locker and e-disco then up to the dash. What did you pay for yours ???????

Something like that, I just ordered it with loads of other stuff and don't remember exactly how much this costed. But it was from 4wd.com, and their catalogue says it's needed. Well, I'll go ahead and change it and let you know!

I wish you could buy just the pigtail. It's rediculous that you have to buy a $120 harness just for a plug. I ended up making my own plug...

Back from a garage session... Changed the complete harness, it took about one hour to complete. (Then again, I had the fuel tank already removed, due to upcoming RE 4,5" longarm conversion this weekend - and it helped).

So now I've got the complete pigtails front + rear, and - if wanted in the future - the connection to the e-swaybar. It'll take another two weeks until I can try the setup live, due to major rebuild in order to get it ready for the Jeep Jamboree Scandinavia, mid-June. I'll let you know, guys - but so far, it seems like well-invested money!

Guess you make your own connection, and switch in-cab, since the lockers just need 12 volts switching, but I choose to do it right, and also bought the Rubicon switchpanel for it.

Thanks for your input and interest!

Thank YOU !!!

I may just rape the harness of the e-disco stuff and leave the locker parts intact !!!
