Default Stubby Tire Carrier

I'm not a fan of the heavy, low hanging rear bumpers and tires carriers out there, so I made my own tire carrier. I call it a "stubby tire carrier". Purely minimalist and functional - lightwieght and oodles of clearance while offroading.

Someone should make these things. If priced right, I'm sure they would sell well.

This is all I see....nevermind its there now. hmmm...at first I thought I liked it but now I dont know. Just looks like somethings missing. But for purely functional purposes it looks good.

But you could always take a minimal am,ount of metal and wrap it around the corners for a more finished look. I like it and your rig is Awesome. Everytime I see a two door that looks like yours, it get me fired up again about trading my Unlimited Rubi for a 2 door X and putting a 4.5" L.A. lift and some 60's under it. Nice Job.

The bumper and the Jeep look good, and somebody does make a very similar bumper...Rancho for $409.00 at 4WD Hardware.

Nice work!

VictorS,
On second look I noticed no stock muffler and saw your sig with Banks exhaust relocated to between frame rails...did you modify the Banks exhaust? Would really like some pics of that. I like Banks stuff, but want to get my muffler between the rails now that I've got the EVAP canister taken care of. I'd also appreciate some pics of your front bumper set up with the AEV winch mount!

Looks awesome but I'd be very worried about coming down on the corners of the body tub. I've already had the corner on mine repaired and it wasn't cheap.

Well, you made this one, so why can't you make more and make the $$? I'll be one of the first to own!
