After looking through tons of 3-3.5 inch lifts. I think I am finally ready to pull the trigger on a Rubicon 3.5 inch superflex system.
It was a hard decison because there sure are a lot of quality kits out there. Reasons: Price point, I found this kit with the monotube shocks on a internet site for 1649 to my door. Most people seem happy with this kit and it really does look complete, especially at this pricepoint. These guys are from the Sactown region, so its good to support the local economy. I will be running this kit with an ARB front bumper with a winch and more than likely an LOD rear bumper. For those of you running this lift with bumpers, how much actual lift have you experienced? Do you have stock driveshafts and have you had any issues? My stock Rubicon is about 72 inches with hard top, garage entrance is about 83.5 inches, so I imagine I will be about 77 inches when all is said and done and be ablle to get out of my garage after the install?
Thanks for your comments.

I have the superflex and am happy with it
I purchased the shocks with remote reserve
Put on 35s with it and it looks complete
Though one time the rear right shock broke at the rod closer to
the axle and took it and had the installers have a look
RE covered it and only had to pay 21 dollars to have the new one
installed

Bobicon,,, Im glad you asked this question. Im interested in the same one. Ive been getting mix answers about the driveshaft situation. Some have said ya you do need to replace it, Ive also read some say nope not at all your alset with the factory one... Anyone answer,, do you or do you not need to replace. Id rather replace it to be on the safe side anyways....
I've got the 3.5" lift. The rear was sitting a bit low after I added my bumper/tire carrier so I put the 4.5" springs in the rear to help level it out.
As far as driveshafts go the stock ones will work. If you have an auto, at full flex you will tear the front driveshaft boot on the tranny pan and eventually need to replace it.

Thanks for the info jeepsanddrums, I guess I''ll budget for a new front drive shaft. BTW how is the ride on the RE kit? The picture is by Upper Sardine Lake with the Sierra Buttes in the background.
Sevenreds, what do they do to fix the problem? I read that there is a new bracket that takes care of the problem?

I've got this lift and it is a good one. Not the very best as I'd give Currie or Clayton the nod there but they would add another grand to the cost. I got the same deal as you did, 1649 with Bilstein shocks with no shipping, and at that price point it is THE lift. The articulation is excellent and I've had no problems with it. I replaced my driveshafts as I believe in preventing problems beforehand so I can't give an opinion on how it works with the stockers. As to the amount of lift I got exactly 3.5" in the back and 4.5" in the front which leveled things out nicely. After installing my RockHard rocker guads, skid plates, rear bumper and tire carrier and Tuffy Drawer I noticed that when load for a trip I was down in the back about half inch. I replaced the std RE rear springs with the rear springs from the 4.5" Long Arm kit and now I'm level when loaded and up half inch in back when not loaded. If you thought that you might get that heavy in the back you might talk to them about going with the 4.5" rear spring. There might be no or only a minimal cost differnce.
On the discos - if you have a Rubi do not install their quick disconnects that are included for use with non Rubi's. Go with the bolt on installation. The Qd's aren't made to be run (connected) with the articulation you get out of the Rubi with the factroy sway bar disconnected.
