Rubicon Express or Teraflex
I went through the same dilemma as you about 6 months ago. I found that the Tera-Flex rides better and is built to be 4 inches with all the crap you can bolt onto the Jeep. I would go with the TeraFlex and never look back.
Good luck.
Good luck.

I've got the RE lift and am very pleased with it. I think if you put two jeeps on your average trail together one with each lift, they'd likely perform just as well as the other. So based on that I don't think either would be a bad choice.
Now, having said that, I think Teraflex is the way to go. Why? Well in addition to being able to talk to a rep on this forum practically whenever you want, making their customer service excellent (not that I've personally had any issues with RE customer service). I think the biggest advantage to the Teraflex lift is the fact that right now all you want is 4" of lift, but say in a year or so from now you want to go bigger than the 37s the RE lift will allow. There is no upgrade for the RE lift, there is no 6" version, but the Teraflex offers that, and the Teraflex rep can correct me if I'm wrong, but to go from their 4" to 6" lift doesnt' require an entirely new lift kit, just an upgrade in a few places. Being that Jeepers tend to modify stuff repeatedly, why not give yourself some options in that regard from the get go?
Either way you go it'll be money well spent and you'll have a blast once it's lifted. Look around the site, you'll see people with the RE lift flexing the hell out of them, just like you see people doing with the Teraflex kit. So for me, that puts them about equal there. So if I had to do it all over again I'd do it based on who I can count on to help me if I have an issue with the lift or just some random question about it, as well as what might be the most practical (and cost effective) when it came to future bigger mods, which puts Teraflex in the top spot between the two.
Good luck and post up pics when you've made your choice and gotten it installed.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I used to be a Rubicon Express fan, in fact my wife's XJ is still
running an RE lift (my kids call it the buckboard). Their customer service and delivery of products is super slow compared to that of TeraFlex.
IMO, the TeraFlex springs are built to a standard that rivals and exceeds those of the OE springs and the products that I've bought over the past decade from RE. Maybe the RE rep can chime in here...oh wait, I don't think we have one!

Love my teraflex lcg. And in all seriousness, I've never had better customer service then the experience is had with Joe from Tera these past few days. He even called my installer and had them fax him my alignment/suspension specs so he could verify the setting is correct with his r&d guy. How many companies give you access to the R&D department?!?
Major thumbs up from me.

Probably the best way to see photo's of different lifts in articulation is to view threads like the one below and look at the signatures to see what lift they are running.

Reviving an old threat. Trying to decide myself which lift to go with. Talked with a shop yesterday and the RE 3.5 lift looked good on a recent customers jeep. Plus it is a complete lift. Is there an equal TF version? I want a complete kit, including front and rear track bars. I don't want to replace the drive shaft either so 3.5 is my limit. Also a side question. Would installing a leveling kit effect the drive shat issue?
