Rock Krawler. Spent months researching the teraflex vs RK after narrowing it down to those two. The RK won out because I felt it was engineered a bit better and it is easy to add on to. The 4" teraflex kit came close though.

I've owned RE Long arm kits on two TJ's and run a LA kit on my JKU. I wheel all my jeeps had have been very happy with them. Initially the TF kits had problems tearing off the frame, but they have fixed that design problem. The RE kits are the factory supplier for MOPAR, and you can get a MOPAR kit at the dealer, which is RE.

That being said, both are currently perfectly fine. Many people will post opinions here and many of those telling you what to do have never run either kit. LA kits are completely different off road than a short arm kit. The geometry is completely different and response characteristics are different when facing larger obsticles. You will be very happy with a LA kit. The roadblock for most people is cost at this point.

I can tell you that my jeep runs over 6" of total lift and it handles like stock, even with 38" tires. I think the TF kit will offer the exact same benefits to you.

My one suggestion to you is that you spend the money for good shocks with whichever kit you get. I run Fox shocks (I ran Walker Evens adjustables with my TJs. Good shocks will help you, both on and off road.

Just looked at RK lifts, look good but lots to choose from. Which do you run?

I just have the 3.5" Flex System, with the jk tuned fox shox. It rides and handles great on-road, and I've heard nothing but great things about its capability offroad (waiting for my front driveshaft and front D30 axle reinforcement before hitting the trails). The other great thing about RK is that you can add on to the basic kit (like mine) with individual parts or the long arm conversion later, without having to buy a whole other kit. I had three companies ranked as follows:
1. RK
2. Teraflex (close second)
3. AEV

If I had to do it again though, I'd compare the RK to the EVO lifts. I've heard good things about the EVO kits, but that's all here-say. I can say with certainty that I'd go with RK again. Extremely happy with my choice.
