Default rubicon sliders help......

i just installed a set of rubi sliders......both sides have a gap between the top of the sliders and the body of the jeep, but on one side it is really noticeable. probably a 1/2 inch gap there. looks kinda crappy. is this normal???

is it safe to assume these are used sliders? if so, sounds like one side took a hard hit.

yeah, they are used.....but they came off a womans jeep and she told me she took them off they day she got it home to get some steps, and there is not a scratch on them, so i actually believe her. i went and looked and it looks like the seam is a little bowed outward at the point. maybe i can jut bend that in a little to make it hug a little closer.

I just put mine back on, should be real straight forward. 6 bolt ends go though the holes on the side (one on each side of each lag), and 3 big lag bolts to hold it to the bottom of the body.

I tightened the 6 small bolts first, and then the 3 lag bolts.

No way to put it on any different that i see.
