Rubicon Susp. stuff on a sport s????
I have a 2012 JK Sport S Unlimited. My question is, What would i gain by putting all stock Rubicon Susp. stuff on my jeep. Shock, Springs, and all the other goodies.
The most I plan on doing to it is 2.5 teraflex, but that won't be till i need new tires.
thank you

Rubi springs won't make much difference on a JKU because the Unlimited already has higher rated springs than a 2-door. Still, if you can get some 18 or 19 fronts and 59 rears it would offer a bit more height and a nicer ride. They are really easy to swap so the effort is no big deal. Check the numbers on your existing springs to make sure the rubi springs actually have higher numbers.
Rubi shocks are gas charged just like the sport shocks, but the rubi shocks are matched to the rubi springs and offer better ride control. The shocks don't lift anything - that's done by the springs - but the rubi shocks are larger diameter and heavier duty. And they are red

All the more reason to swap for rubis.
they just compressed at approximately half the pressure needed for the rubi shocks
I thought they were under pressure because they have been lying on my bench all stretched out the way I took them off a few weeks ago - but before my earlier post I went out and pushed them to their shortest position and they just stayed that way. No pressure at all. A gas shock would have rebounded to maximum length right away. They were, like, 3 months old and 1500 miles when I took them off.
