Rubicon Xpress 3.5" ??
I got my kit Friday
I also got the front Bilstein shocks with the kit, but not the rears....so hopefully they'll come this week so I can install everything this weekend.
As far as the Gen 2's, they do work on both the Rubicon's and regular JK's.
In the instructions, they show how to install them differently for Rubicons.
You just use the supplied bolts instead of the shafts and pins.
But, I may just extend my stock ones by cutting them in half, then slip some round tube in the middle (if I can find the right diameter) and weld it up.
Then I can try selling the Gen 2's

Rubi's have the incab, so they don't have to disco at the axle like the other models. my last set of Gen2's were actually for a 2" lift. i used a metal shock sleeve and some threaded rod to make them longer for my 4+" lift. i imagine something similiar could be done here.
What I meant was, the Gen 2's that I got with the lift kit came with extra hardware and instructions if you choose to make them non-disconnects, for use with the Rubicon.
WOOOOO!!!
High Fives all around and a round of beers on me
Thank you SO much Jason and RedRock. I definetely appreciate you chasing down the answers for me

Here was the answer I received today from RE:
"There are no plans to offer a cheaper version for the Rubicon’s.
The way we have designed the JK GEN2’s they are used for both the Rubicon’s and non-Rubicon models. This makes it easier for all of our stocking dealers to sell our suspension. There is not much difference, the Rubicon edition owners put a bolt through the bottom bushing instead of the snap pin. However, the Rubicon edition owners can choose to run the snap pin at the axle as a back up system in case their automatic system will not activate.
For those JK owners that are running a 3.5” lift, many manufactures are including a longer link for the rear sway bar and then recommending to put their stock rear links in the front of the JK. So, this is always a option.
We are trying to keep our part line-up simple and practical."

i understand. if it were my business, i'd do the same thing. hell, that's why my JK has a "minivan" engine.
Thanks for your help
Thats cool, but is there a way we can upgrade the shipping to make sure I get them by Friday?
PM sent.....
Finally got the lift from RE!!! I decided to have Central 4wd put it on, although I have a buddy who said he'd do it and spare me the $350...he just did an '05 Unlimited with ease. Speaking with Central today, they ran into a snag.
I guess Jeep has a manifold bolt on the drivers side that requires either taking off the header or cutting the bolt. Anyone else run into this??
