Default rugged ridge headers??

I did a search & didn't dig any results up. Has anyone installed any? Any thoughts on their build quality - performance increase - throttle response etc?

Here's the link to what I found: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-JK-Wrangler-SS-Exhaust-Manifold-Header-Kit-07-10_W0QQitemZ390153191309QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_Defa ultDomain_100?hash=item5ad6f13f8d

Seems like a great deal for a stainless header. I have had good luck with some existing rugged ridge products but no experience with their exhaust pieces.

I am eyeing a full front to back intake and exhaust solution for my rubi not restricted to any manufacturer including plug in electronic modification options..superchips, flashpaq etc.

Don't get me wrong I"m not trying to turn my wrangler into any sort of performance demon that for sure - but coming from a durango/hemi relationship I want to find some happy medium if you know what I mean.

I know there are a ton of threads with engine hop ups in mind - the youtube vid seem a little over the top results wise but are eye opening if these are true dyno #'s and would go a long way towards satisfying my appetite. I tend to extract the much restricted HP with anything I own for both acceleration but more importantly fuel economy....
After I complete the above mentioned mods I will reach out for a leveling kit and 33's - for now
...why is it that I can't stop tinkering....no matter what I own
I mean I did buy this for the wifes ride...

Only thing I have heard and learned is that stainless steel headers will end up melting some wires in the engine department. And if going with headers, nickle plating is the way to go.

Even though these are the cheapest ones I have seen, I hear that spending over 500.00 on headers has been the biggest waste of money on the JK's (Price per performance ratio, or $/HP).

from what i have seen and heard; short tube headers make no horsepower or torque gains whats so ever! every manufacturer that make these shorties have no dyno sheets , that support their horsepower gain claims. however not all is lost, u should check out ripps long tube headers. they make significant gains in both horsepower and the torque departments. plus, they have dyno sheets to prove it.

no hp gains and headaches - seems like a lose-lose situation
