Running Rubicon tires on a stock sport JK?
Can i run Rubicon tires on a stock Sport 2011 JK, i know the gearing is different in a rubicon. Is there a danger of problems occuring if i dont regear? "Would it be simply that with the larger tires it will run like a powerless pig at highway speed?"

Dealers can order Sports with Rubicon tires.
If there is a noticeable difference in size between what you had and the new Rubicon tires (say going from 29" to 32"), it will affect your speedometer/odometer accuracy. You can pay the dealer to program the new size in (which should restore accuracy) or you can do it yourself with something like the AEV ProCal or Superchips. Not sure what the stock Sport tire size is on 11s.

I'm running rubi tires on my near stock Sport. I have the 3.73 gears and I do not feel at all like I'm powerless. In fact, for two weeks I ran 35's and that was even fine.

The JK is a powerless pig regardless. I love my JK but it is BY FAR the most gutless vehicle I've ever had. That said it's one of my favorite vehicles I've ever owned..... Change 'em out! The rubi tires are much better. I wouldn't pay to have someone recalibrate your speedo. It may be off by 1 or 2 MPH. MAYBE. Who cares though.
