Default Rustys 2" Basic Kit - Feedback wanted

Looking at the Rusty's Offroad 2" Basic lift kit, anyone running this lift that can provide some feedback? Anything else required to go along with it?

TIA!

Is that a spacer lift? I can chime in on their 2'' coil lift. Mine included just coils, shocks, and mounting hardware. The ride is a little stiffer then stock, but I love it. At first, with my 2 door, I got over 3.5'' of lift, and it settled down to 3'' of lift after a few months.

It does not include sway bar links, which I would replace eventually with longer ones, or better, quick disconnecting ones. One PITA thing about the install was they do not pre install the shock brushings. Thankfully, I have a full military auto shop to make personal use of and found a huge vice to press them in. I tried using a hammer but I don't think anything short of a vice will work. Maybe they can pre set them in for you.

Give them a call. The sales guy I talked to was very friendly, and even talked me out of track bars since he felt I would be wasting money, and he was right, my current ones worked fine. If I had to do it all over again, I would go with Rusty's without a second thought. Excellent product for the price.

rusty makes a great product. its not unusual for the bushing not to be pre installed.

I have run the Rusty's 2" coils for 3 years plus. No problems with it on 2 different JK's. But they should include some brakeline relocation brackets and some longer swaybar links with it. That puts the cost of the lift closer to a TeraFlex 2.5" one which is more complete.

I have the 3.25" lift on mine. Really good lift, the bushings were a PITA to get into the shocks. I netted about 4.5" originally and have settled to about 3.75" on the springs. Rode really good. I happend to "outgrow" the shocks and ended up replacing them. If you stay in the limits of the lift youll have no issues, only downside to Rusty's stuff is the cost of shipping, think its around 125 for the lift to be shipped. Just something to keep in mind.

Maybe it's location specific? I paid $400 shipped for mine, which is about $50 for shipping IIRC. I live in NC and they are located in Alabama I think.
