Well, that depends. Is your current 3" an actual 3" on your 2-door? Because the Rusty's coils netted me about 3.8" all around on my 4-door. So on a 2-door I'm guessing it would be closer to 4.5"

So if your current lift only netted you 3" then stepping up to the Rusty's coils would probably give you an extra 1.5" of lift. Having said that, you should still be able to run your current shocks w/o a problem. You will just have 1.5" less droop. (but the same stuffage)

I was up there helping a friend and saw two BEASTLY Unlimiteds up on a rock pile, so I stopped to take a look, and ran into the fella I talked about. He gave me a card and then I went inside and saw all the stuff they actually had IN STOCK! I bought my jeep last March and have NEVER seen a dealer with that much after-market stuff. He said they're a Quadratec dealer now, and this type of thing is new for the dealership. Check it out. The lift looked pretty nice, and i was rather impressed with how it drove. He said he could fit my rig out with the same thing for $1600 and change. HMMMMMM........

Just for the record, I actually ran my stock Rubicon shocks on the front with the Rusty's coils installed. (my new shocks weren't in yet)

With that much lift I only had about 0.75" of downward travel, but it was enough to get by until my new shocks came in!

i just looked on the rustys website and they are selling a package with the 3.25" kit and 4 wheels and tires for $2,250!!! i will have to buy another tire and wheel but that is ok.
so everyone on here likes the rustys kit? i will put on front lower and rear upper links with the kit so thats not an issue.

what about driveshaft stuff? do yall run new ones? can i run the stockers for a few months and be ok on the highway.. no wheeling will be done until at least the summer so no flex issues about tearing the boots and what not.

I saw this dealership too, the owner is a royal dooche bag though.

I'd highly recommend checking out Adam's Jeep in Aberdeen, they are about 10 mins down the road from Thompson. They had 3x the amount of custom jeep JK's outfront and do a ton more lifts then Thompson. Plus they hate Thompson so they will beat the price no matter what.
