I run the Rustys advanced 3.25 lift on my '12 JKU rubi and have no clearance issues with the exhaust pipe. Guess it depends on your caster.

We have done a lot of 12's and so far so good, there is clearance, we would still suggest checking it or maybe upgrading that front driveshaft, just in case.

If you look on my profile I have an album that proves the clearance of the exhaust to be a myth. You are good up to a little over 4" of lift with no rubbing. However, the driveshaft is over extentended at the CV joint and causes a pinch at the seal on the bottom. You will want to budget for a coast driveshaft in the not too distant future as you will need it. Best of luck, install is easy, and you will love the ride.

Would I need to replace my drive shafts front and rear in my 2 door with the basic kit? I wheel hard and can't afford to do both right now. If I would need to do so, I would rather wait and do it all at one time.

The front would have to be eventually but the rear seems to be fine. The front you could get away with for a while, maybe a year or more.

Thanks. I'm running a 2 1/2" rubicon express right now with stock shafts and I'm going to Jump to this kit and 37's. I will have all 8 arms and new shafts before I do that, but it's going to be piece by piece.

So if I were to get the 2" basic, what else would I need to do? Cuz a lot of lifts come with way more parts compared to rusty's. Just thinking what all would entail of extra cost, maybe easier to just go with a TF 2.5" ::

If you want to do the Rusty's 2", you should probably get longer swaybar links, and if you plan on running a tire larger than 33" you may need longer bumpstop extensions. I ran this lift on my 2007 with 35's. I bought the Full Traction bumpstop extensions and the TF brakeline drop brackets.

Yes. Rusty's shocks are firm on highway, but IMO perform well off road.
