Correct, in general we suggest keeping any eye on the drive shafts. Every one pushes their JK a little different. In regards to exhaust we have a solution for the 2012- JK as well.

Thanks for the info!

No bump stops but they do sell them and they aren't expensive

Well hells bells I didnt see that on your site.

So in regards to the sway bar links, it looks like the basic kit only comes with front links. Is this correct? Most lifts in this range (or even less lift) have new rear links, and then swap the original rears to the front. This isnt the case with this kit?

Also...

How much actual initial lift is typically gained on a 4 door rubi? I have stock bumpers and no winch or any weight adders. And how well does that front Y link work in comparison to the two separate links on each side?

That was my question too. I figured maybe run it without either of them, and then buy them later if they are needed.

I didnt see any specifically for the JK, but there are several different height ones that may work? I have never even looked at the JK bumpstops, so I have no idea how they mount. It looked like the ones they offer either had a single stud or had a plate with a bold hole on each side.

I got the Rusty's basic 3.25 and added on the front and rear LCA's. Got a good 30k before I needed to replace the bushings on the front LCA's and the track bar. Shocks were fine, you get what you pay for. I felt the ride was better than stock, which is really saying something when you go from road tires to 35" MTZ's. I replaced the swaybar disconnects after about 10k with the JKS quickers, well worth the extra cash. Rusty's seems to have a no questions asked return policy, I had a shock and the SS go within about 3k miles. The only problem is that they will charge $35 shipping for each item, plus you have to ship back the defective unit. That can add up, but if you know about it up front (they don't hide the fact) you can factor that into the value. To do again, I would still get the same Rusty's kit.

Oh, I tore up my front DS boot on the first trail ride after the lift. As stated by others, it all depends on how you wheel it. Jut put the DS into the "eventually need to replace" column and start saving now.

Well thanks for the info!

I see you are using Rusty's rear links, but Rock Krawler fronts. Any specific reason for this? Dont like Rusty's Y-link setup? And why did you change to the Teraflex front track bar? Also, how much initial lift did you gain? Is it right around 3.25" or is it even more?

Sorry about bombarding you with questions, but first hand experienc is priceless. Thanks in advance.

When the bushings went on the front LCA's and the track bar, I took that opportunity to 'upgrade' I didn't want to have to futz around with pressing out bushings and all that crap. I must say, the teraflex monster TB is just that, a monster. The Basic kit gets you where you want to be and then you have the time, >30k miles, to figure out if you want to go in a different direction or change out good parts for fantastic parts as the budget allows.

Rusty's basic kit is a good kit to get you on the road, and off, while being able to run 35's without a problem. after trimming my fender flares on the back and getting poison spyder fenders for the front, i am now running 37's without issue.

I really should have measured but I think it was about 4" and now maybe 3.5ish.

This picture was taken late August 2012 and the lift when on November of 2010. I think it has held up well.

Im leaning towards the 3.25" Basic kit for my 2010 JKU. I am new to the 4x4 and lifts. How hard is the kit to install? Is there any special equipment needed, like a spring compressor or anything else?
