Default SAD but TRUE

After 3 trips to the dealer for the dreaded door rattle I put .50cent worth of tape on the latch and it fixed it.

The latch on your doorframe. My 1st JK did it from day 2. My new one has never done it.

I did it on all the doors and the rear too.

It probably cost you more in gas to go to the dealership, but this is so far the only fix that works perfect.

I know this is going to sound silly, but would one of you guys mind posting a pic of your "tape fix"?

My 2 front door rattled pretty bad, the dealer kept telling me it is a jeep that is the way they are. I told him to pull a new one around and we would put his theory to the test. he did, and was wrong. the new one did not rattle. they took the door apart, ordered some parts and i no longer have rattles.
